During sea trials MS was called on board to execute an alignment check of the propulsion system in
hot, cold, hopper empty and hopper full conditions.
After examining these figures the conclusion was made that most readings were out of the stated
tolerances. MS got the order for engineering new alignment targets and re-aligned and re-chocked
the complete propulsion and the auxiliary engines, gearboxes and pumps. After realignment the same
alignment checks were taken during the 2nd sea trials. All measured values were within the stated
tolerances and the ship was handed over to the customer.
